Character names must be suitable for all players and must not be offensive, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate. Names that are nonsensical, impersonate other players or staff, or suggest official roles (e.g. administrator, moderator) are not allowed. Names may be changed or the character sanctioned if they violate these guidelines. Xnova reserves the right to decide what is acceptable.
2. Cheating and exploitation
a) Exploiting bugs or errors in the game (e.g. to duplicate items or gain unfair advantages) is not allowed. Suspected bugs should be reported to Xnova so they can be fixed.
b) Intentionally abusing game mechanics to block, trap, or harm other players in ways not intended by the game is not allowed.
c) Attempting to access or use other players’ account data (“hacking”) is strictly forbidden.
d) Trading, sharing, or offering account access to others (“account trading/sharing”) is not allowed and is done at your own risk.
Automation such as healbots and attackbots is allowed on Test OT. You may not, however, use follow scripts or similar tools to control or move multiple characters together. Each character must be played and moved independently. Using automation to run several characters in the same hunting or resource area (“spawn”) at once is not allowed; one character per spawn. Using multiple characters to do bosses or other content as a private group (e.g. boss runs with only your own characters) is not allowed.
Playing more than one character at the same time (multi-client) is allowed. You may not use multiple characters to attack or target a single player (e.g. several of your own characters attacking one opponent). That is considered unfair use of multi-client and may lead to sanctions.
Threatening or harassing staff because of their role or decisions is not allowed. Pretending to be staff or to have influence over staff decisions is not allowed. Intentionally giving false or misleading information in reports or investigations may result in sanctions.
6. Sanctions and changes to the rules
Breaking these rules may lead to warnings, temporary or permanent bans, or other measures. In serious or repeated cases, characters or accounts may be removed or modified without compensation. How we react depends on how serious the breach is and your history on the server. Xnova decides the outcome in each case.
These rules may be updated at any time. Changes will be announced on the official website. By playing on Test OT, you agree to follow the current rules.
